Smart Youth Investments Ltd together with Braeside High School is running a program in the school whose theme is on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and Innovation which are the traits we wish to inculcate in the students. The programme is called Young Investors Challenge 2011.
The objective of Young Investors Challenge is to teach Leadership, Apprenticeship, Innovation and Investing in a fun and innovative way to the teenagers in Braeside High School.
Students grouped themselves into 5 Competing teams and for 7 club sessions during the term, they were taught and given activities around the topics of Leadership, Entreprenurship, Innovation and Investing.
Each team is supposed to come up with a list of items they wish to sell during a designated BIG SALE day in the real market on 25th July 2011. We shall also be holding a pre-BIG SALE Day sale at the school on Thursday 23rd June 2011. The items range from bakes, hair bands & accessories, silly bands, arm bands, video games etc. Each team is expected to use the experience they have been taught during the term to make the best profits during the big sale day.
